"Planet of Light" Mother and Child Conference-Exhibition

On March 23rd, "Planet of Light" Mother and Child Conference-Exhibition took place at Yerevan Expo Center under the auspices of the "My Step" Foundation, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund, UNICEF and World Vision Armenia. Naregatsi Art Institute Children Painting Class also took part in that event.
RA Prime Minister’s spouse Anna Hakobyan, Executive Representative of the UN Population Fund in Armenia Tsovinar Harutyunyan, UNICEF Representative Tanja Radocaj attended the opening ceremony of ‘Planet of Light’ Mother and Child Conference-Exhibition and made speeches.
The beautiful exhibition was not only about children, but also for children. Colorful, bright and amazing pictures of Naregatsi Children Painting Class students made the warm atmosphere even brighter.
At the event, the RA Prime Minister’s spouse Anna Hakobyan got acquainted with the works of Naregatsi Art Institute Painting Class students, and the founder of the Naregatsi Art Institute Nareg Hartounian handed Ms. Hakobyan some copies of the NAI productions: “Nursery Rhymes” by Hovhannes Toumanian, the "Grikor Narekatsi. Tagher" CD album and the Naregatsi Folk Instruments Orchestra's CD album “New Breath”.
During the "Planet of Light" Mother and Child Conference-Exhibition not only the mothers and fathers received valuable information about the upbringing of the child, the involvement of the father in their life, the inclusion of children with disabilities and the protection of children's rights, but also the children had a wonderful time, finding the sections interesting them and getting answers to many of the questions.
