Arto: Sculptures and Drawings - Produced by the Naregatsi Art Institute

Sculptor, painter Arto Tchakmakchian’s “Sculptures and Drawings” book –album was published in 2003. The publication was made possible through the Naregatsi Art Institute.

Sculpture and artist Arto Tchakmakchian’s numerous sculptures, graphic designs, portraits, as well as portrait sculptures and drawings of well-known scientists and cultural figures (Komitas, V. Balyan, Charles Taylor and others) are presented in this book –album. There is also the sculpture and drawing of the author's self-portrait.
It includes the best works (sculptures, graphic designs, portraits, etc.) of the sculpture and artist Arto Tchakmakchian created in the period of 1975-2002. The book - album is notable for its simple and unique design.

Arto Tchakmakchian is a prominent figure of the contemporary Armenian art, an internationally renowned artist, a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Fine Arts. He is from the 20th century 60-70s glorious generation of writers, musicians, painters, who had his new word in art and contributed to the growth of the spiritual identity and awareness of the Armenians.
