The Bird

Armenian stop motion animation based on H. Toumanyan's fairy tale with English subtitles created by Naregatsi Art Institute Shoushi Center's students.

Arto Tuncboyacian’s songs are used in the film, which the musician - songwriter has kindly provided to the NAI Center. The storyteller is Karen Jangirov, RA Honorary Artist, G. Sundukian theater actor and the voice of the Bird is embodied by 5 year old Avedis Eskenyan.
Maida Chandez Avakian is the film director and Arevik Avanesyan is the producer. Maida has volunteered for 3 months in Naregatsi Art Institute Shoushi center teaching the children how to make cartoon characters. The puppet characters of the animated cartoon have been prepared during the classes.

The shooting also took place in the Naregatsi Shoushi center due to the creative approach of the photographer Arevik Danielyan. Afterwards the editing was done in the Audio Recording Studio of the Naregatsi Art Institute Yerevan center by Armen Yeganyan and the image editing was done by Gayane Khachatryan.
