Naregatsi Art Institute founder Nareg Harutiunian also made a welcoming speech.
"Our soldiers are defending our borders, while our artists, our musicians are protecting our culture, our songs, our legacy and national dignity. In that sense, each of them is a hero, an ambassador, a God-given talent...
Naregatsi Art Institute would like to express their gratitude first of all to the Lord, because we serve God.
Special thanks to the parents who have brought up such wonders, thanks to all the people who have supported us from the beginning. One of them is Ara Gevorgyan, who is here today ...
Thanks to all those who believed and who still believe ... Thanks to the soloists who kindly participated in the concert, thanks to all of you for joining us here today.
The strongest army will lose the battle without their commander, the best orchestra will not be successful without its artistic director. Naregatsi Art Institute has a tradition. We nominate the exclusive musicians, artists with a title of "Ambassador of Culture", because they are the most deserving representatives of our nation. We have a special gift for this title, it’s a small cross stone with the Naregatsi Art Institute logo on its back, i.e., the faith and art are united. I am going to hand this title to Artem Khachatur, Artistic Director of the Naregatsi Orchestra and to Hovik Sahakyan, Nova Folk Instruments Ensemble Artistic Director,” - concluded his speech founder of the Institute.
Among the audience were Ruben Matevosyan, Ara Gevorgyan, Stepan Shakaryan, Daniel Yerajhaisht, Vachagan Navasardyan, Ruben Hakhverdyan, Tsovinar Hovhannisyan and many other art workers...
"It was a musical explosion for me. The concert was unprecedented; I was filled with incredible positive energy, the orchestra is very powerful and has a new image. The diamond, given to us by Sayat-Nova, was turned into a piece of jewellery by Artem with new musical approaches, new solutions, new quality, putting the orchestra on a new level. Both the musicians and singers were stunning. When Artem Khachatur joined the orchestra, we saw a great "explosion" and abrupt changes in the orchestra.
I would like to note, that without Naregatsi Art Institute and Nareg Harutiunian’s charity all this would not have been realized.
I've never met anything like this anywhere, when a free space and everything necessary is provided to the artist, so that the artist can create and do not think about anything else. The result is this miracle, which we have seen today. ..,”- Professor, qanun player Tsovinar Hovhannisyan, shared her impressions after the concert.
The audience was very delighted and enjoyed listening to all the musical pieces.
