Spiritual Music Concert

Naregatsi Art Institute hosted a concert of spiritual music featuring “Gandzer” (Treasures) Choir.
Priest Father Smbat Sargsyan, the pastor of Kotayk Diocese Arinj village St. Mary and St. Hovahannes Churches opened the event presenting the message of the Holy Friday.
- Good Friday is the sixth day of creation, when God created Adam from the soil in his image, and after he created Eve from his rib and placed them in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit on Friday, got undressed; the Lord punishing the man with a curse expelled him from the Garden of Eden.
On Good Friday Lord was arrested by Judah's betrayal, he was beaten and mocked. Ho took on Adam's curse and condemnation and dying on the cross, he opened his side and with water pouring from his side washed the sins of man. With the warmth of the blood he saved us from the Evil’s service, – the pastor delivering the message of the day, advised all of them to be always grateful to the Lord.
The concert kicked off after the prayer presented by Father Tatchat Davtyan and the audience.
The “Gandzer” Choir performed a series of spiritual songs.
The “Gandzer” Choir was founded in 2015. The members of the Choir teach spiritual songs within the amateur training course organized of the Araratyan Patriarchal Diocese (the choir consists of male and female singers).
Throughout its activity the Choir spreads Armenian spiritual, classical, folk music in Armenia and abroad as well.
The founder and spiritual leader “Gandzer” is Volodya Deacon Najarian, conductor is Vachagan Mamikonyan.
