On July 22nd, at 7pm, Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall will host an exclusive concert entitled ''Garodi Ganch” of the Persian - Armenian troubadours, organized by the Peria Cultural Center of the American - Armenian Cultural Foundation, dedicated to the 400-year-history and culture of the Persian Armenians.
There will be the debut presentation of 22 new folk songs.
The concert program will be presented by Naregatsi Orchestra (Artistic Director, composer, tar player, RA Honored Artist Artem Khachatur).
The event will also feature the soloists: Vardan Badalyan, Haykouhi Babakhanyan, Smbat Khalatyan, Lucine Mirzakhanyan, Edgar Khachatryan, Nazani Choir (Artistic Director, RA Honored Artist Arous Goulanyan).
The event will be moderated by RA Distinguished journalist Sargis Najaryan.

The Peria Cultural Center of the American - Armenian Cultural Foundation was founded in Los Angeles in 1996 due to the efforts of a group of co-thinkers.
The activities of the Center are aimed at the preservation and dissemination of the Armenian cultural values.
In 2003 the Peria Cultural Center developed a program of events to present to the public a 400-year history of the Persian - Armenian community formed in Iran as a result of the deportation of the Armenians and the cultural values created during that period.
Peria is the most Armenian-populated province of the 10th state of Iran (Isfahan).
The Armenian community has been established in Peria since the days of Shah Abbas.
In the past, there were 30 Armenian-populated villages in the province, and in 1946 there were 24 villages, 8 of which immigrated to their homeland.
As in Armenia and in the Armenian-populated regions of Iran, especially in the Province of Peria, there were Armenian troubadours, who, walking from village to village, from province to province, entertained the people during the festivities, spreading the Armenian song and the art of music.
Troubadours were the pride of the village. Occasionally, the troubadours organized competitions presenting songs, puzzles and improvisations on the spot.
There are many books about Peria, which have historical and cultural value, from which we would like to mention Levon Minasyan's books "Armenian Troubadours of Peria" and "History of the Armenians of Peria".
