On September 12th, Naregatsi Folk Instruments Orchestra (Artistic Director, composer and tar player Artem Khachatur) had a concert in Milan, Italy.
The Orchestra provided a beautiful opportunity for those present to enjoy the Armenian folk music.
- Today we are here with God's will. It is very symbolic for us to perform for you. We are glad to have the opportunity to spread the Armenian culture. We have brought a special gift from our homeland, a small pomegranate with the Naregatsi Art Institute logo.
The gift is for Father Tovma Kachatryan, who assisted in organizing this concert. You are one of those who work hard to disseminate Armenian culture, - said NAI Founder Nareg Hartounian.
Father Tovma Khachatryan greeted everyone and expressed his admiration for the great patriotic work carried out by Nareg Hartounian, Artem Khachatur’s instrumentation and the professionalism of the musicians.
-The community is full of enthusiasm and I do not remember ever having had such a great concert ... Thanks to the young people for their professional performances, Nareg Hartounian for the great patriotic work, Artem Khachatur for high quality instrumentation and for organizing the orchestra's activities, - said Father Tovma Khachatryan in his speech.
This was the fourth stop of the great concert tour. The Orchestra will also give concerts in France and Switzerland. Note, that concerts were already held in Rome, Tricase and Istanbul.
