2011-04-24 | Naregatsi Art Institute

RAA (Research on Armenian Architecture) Foundation and the Naregatsi Art Institute have been collaborating since 2004 on a number of projects, mainly “Varaga Paron Petros”, “Julfa”, “Silence” and “Ani”.
The latter presents a comprehensive five-language encyclopedia about the medieval architectural monuments of Ani, reflecting on the splendor, glory, the ruins and the historical past of the capital of Bagratuni Kingdom. Information about the history of Ani, defensive installations and monuments is provided in five languages (Armenian, English, Turkish, French and Russian) in the attached booklet.
The purpose of the Research on Armenian Architecture (RAA) Foundation is to investigate through expeditions and document Armenian architectural monuments located outside the borders of the present-day Republic of Armenia and present them to the Armenian and international community as a publication.
