Naregatsi Art Institute was the host to the pre-election phase of the "Njdeh" folk dance group, which was conducted by Gagik Ginosyan, Artistic Director of the Karin Folk Song and Dance Ensemble.
Mr. Ginosyan made a speech and shared his thoughts on the first day of the enrolment round.
- I have agreed to participate in this project, because I have been collaborating with the Naregatsi Art Institute for many years (11-12 years). The presentation of our first DVD took place here, as well as our first solo concert, open dance classes and a number of other projects… Why did we decide to come up with this project?
NAI Founder Nareg Harutiunian has a specific attitude towards any manifestations of the Armenian culture and Nareg's decision on the creation of such a group may bring to a change in the Armenian culture, - emphasized in his speech Gagik Ginosyan.
The participants were so encouraged during the pre-election phase, that they all danced, regardless of whether it was their turn or not.
The first day of the pre-election phase lasted 4 hours.
