Naregatsi Art Institute hosted a matinee featuring readings of classical and contemporary poetry organized in the scope of the monthly activities for women.
- Naregatsi Art Institute pursuing the mission of involving people with disabilities in the arts field continues to implement special events, programs and projects.
Today's event is dedicated to women with disabilities and the Union launches the Poetry Theater series, which will be led by actress Taquhi Ghazaryan, - said Naregatsi Art Institute Director Levon Ivanyan in his opening speech.
Taquhi Ghazaryan read the works by Armenian classic and contemporary authors, under the light effects and piano accompaniment (H. Tagvoryan).
All the special guests, including the men and women with disabilities from the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations and "Bridge of Hope" NGO, were handed the "Book of Lamentations" by St. Gregory of Narek, and all the women in the hall were given flowers.
The event was also attended by singer Ilona Sagieva, whose exhibition was recently opened in the NAI. The latter presented her works and spoke about their meaning.
