On the occasion of the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide, the Naregatsi Art Institute was the host to the screening of the “Man Pictures” Studio’s feature-length documentary film "The Map of Salvation".

The event started with a minute's silence.
- It’s for the first time that I see a person who is not a Diasporan and who gives much importance to the Armenian Genocide and its role in our lives. He is the general producer of this film. The film tells how the "diaspora" emerged. The film is based on only real facts, "said Nareg Hartounian, founder of the Naregatsi Art Institute.

The film, which is based on real facts, is about the human tragedies at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, namely the humanist movement emerging as a wave of protest and resistance during the Armenian Genocide.

The film heroes are five European missionary women, who have witnessed the massacres of the Armenians.

Appearing in the country of blood and tears, they alone managed to save thousands of Armenian children and women.

Their extremely dramatic encounter with the tormented people unknown to them was fatal for these great humanists.

The film is told by a historian, who passing through the path of mission of the film heroines draws the map of salvation.
