The 7th Annual "Honey and Berry Festival'' was held in Berd city of Tavush region. The festival is a unique event for the region (which includes Berd city and the surrounding 16 villages), if not the only one, which changes the atmosphere for 1-2 days, turning the locals' everyday life into a holiday.

-Berd City is a crucial shield for Armenia against the enemies. It is a great honor for all of us to perform for our compatriots. Special thanks to Hayk Chobanyan for the organization of this event.

The participation in this annual event is a part of our mission. The Nova Ensemble led by Artistic Director Hovik Sahakyan and the soloists through their hour-long program will convey pure, authentic Armenian folk melodies and songs, and the Njdeh Folk Dance Group will present Armenian folk dances inviting the people to join them. Enjoy …, - said Naregatsi Art Institute founder Nareg Hartounian.

Nova Folk Instruments Ensemble led by Artistic Director Hovik Sahakyan and the soloists Anahit Hakobyan, Nare Avagyan and Arman Arakelyan had a concert program in the scope of the festival. This was an exceptional and beautiful opportunity to hear national music in the open air and participate in the annual festival.

After the concert program, the Njdeh Folk Dance Group of Naregatsi Art Institute performed a series of national dances, infecting the audience with a great desire to dance.

Note that Naregatsi Art Institute Shoushi Center also participated in the festival, presenting the works of the students of the Carpet making and Pottery classes, as well as the works by the artists of the "Brut Art" Pottery Symposium.
