2019-01-06 15:00 | Naregatsi Art Institute
Naregatsi Art Institute opened the series of events of 2019 with a Christmas celebration.
Father Shahe Hayrapetyan, spiritual pastor of St. Sarkis Church of the Araratian Patriarchal Diocese, opened the event with the Lord’s Prayer and held the ceremony of House Blessing.
The event featured Naregatsi Art Institute's Nova Folk Instruments Ensemble (Artistic Director Hovik Sahakyan), Naregatsi Art Institute Choir (Conductor Anahit Sargsyan) and the Choir of "Yerevan Old-timers" Association NGO (Conductor Astghik Khachatryan).
- The celebration of Christmas is symbolic. It is important for us to spread the spiritual word. All the performances presented here today are aimed for the spread of that word and we hope that we will have more of that spirituality around us, - said Nareg Hartounian, founder of the Naregatsi Art Institute, in his speech.
Mutual congratulations were exchanged at the end of the event...
... Christ is Born and Revealed!
Blessed is the Revelation of Christ!
