TALKING STONES: An Exhibition of Mosaics by Talin Mikroyan

The Naregatsi Art Institute invites you to an exhibition of original mosaics by Talin Mikroyan, where a palette of stones is transformed into works of art.

Through the exhibition, the author wants to present modern approaches to mosaic art, preserve and value Armenian cultural identity, as well as create a dialogue between art and the audience.

Originally from Aleppo, Talin Mikroyan has been interested in painting since childhood. In parallel with her profession as an agriculturalist, she continued her creative path in the art of mosaic, participating in professional courses and exhibitions in Syria, Lebanon, and Georgia. In 2023, she was awarded the Khayr al-Din al-Asadi Prize. Since 2025, she has been living and creating in Armenia.

Stones can tell stories about national identity, cultural memory, and symbols when they appear in the hands of an artist and are transformed into mosaics.
