Naregatsi Art Institute 2019

Our Founder’s Message

Today, and on any given day of the week—in both Yerevan and Shoushi, there is a live performance or event to be enjoyed free of charge by the general public. This was the vision that inspired me to establish NAI back in 2004 and it is what continues to attract artists and audiences, students and masters from all backgrounds and walks of life. Working together, we have created a one of a kind space dedicated to preserve the timeless, life-affirming, freedom-loving, and profound values that are vital to binding a nation together and promoting a civil society in which room is made for humanistic pursuits.

Now the demand for our creative resources and community services has brought NAI to the next stage of its development, in which we can invite friends and supporters from all over the world to take part in our mission: to ensure that the Armenian nation’s cultural life works its magic to inspire, teach, transform and transcend.

While many describe Armenia as a tiny landlocked country with few natural resources, it can never be said that its people are short on natural talent. With your support, the Armenian nation can reach new levels of creative excellence that will add a new and exciting dimension to the human spirit.
