Concert at NAI

Naregatsi Art Institute hosted the solo concert entitled "My Love to Mothers" featuring eight-year-old qanun player Henrik Gevorgyan.
Henrik Gevorgyan is a student of Arevshat Music School.
The event featured works by Komitas, Khachatur Avetisyan, Sayat-Nova, Tsovinar Hovhannisyan, George Gershwin, Manfred Schmitz, as well as the Jewish Folk song "Havanagila" (transportation by Kh.Avetisyan).
At the end of the concert, the founder of the Naregatsi Art Institute Nareg Hartounian handed Astghik Snetsunts' CD "Inspiration" from the NAI publications to the little qanun player and Grigor Narekatsi's CD album "Tagher" was given to Arevshat Music School.
Director of Arevshat Music School Hermine Grigoryan also expressed her gratitude to the Naregatsi Art Institute and the school's teaching staff.
