Painting class has been active since 2006. It is conducted by painter Samvel Tavardyan. He is a member of the Artists' Union of Artsakh, has participated in numerous group exhibitions in the NKR, Armenia and abroad. The artist has also had a personal exhibition in Shushi. Samvel Tavadian’s paintings are displayed in the Museum of Fine Arts of Shushi, as well as in private collections in different countries.
Currently there are 9 students in the class. The students' works are being exhibited every year.
In 2012 Hayk Kiziryan participated in the contest of the "Tatever" exhibition and won the first honorary place.
The paintings of the class 6 students were used in the jubilee calendar of the Artsakhbank.
Painting class students have participated in numerous festivals as well.
