In 2010 NAI Shushi created an opportunity for the students to get psychological assistance by art-therapist Hasmik Yesayan.
Hasmik Yesayan is a geography faculty graduate of Saratov State University, a practicing psychologist at Yerevan State University, has participated in the 3-months training courses for psychologists in NKR, organized within the mental health program, as well as in the 2-months courses on cognitive-behavioral therapy organized by New York University school of Medicine in Yerevan, Armenia and "Sensibilisation a la Psychomotricite” and “Douleurs Sans Frontieres (DSF):
She has worked as a psychologist in the "Nork" Psychiatric Clinic for children and adolescents' mental health program ACPP (sponsored CAFOD, UK) and has been the head of the Educational needs assessment department of the NKR Ministry of Education.
During these years the hand works of the children trained in psychological sessions have been periodically presented in many exhibitions.
Three talented students were awarded honorary awards at the "Let's fly or Create Tatevik's Image" Children and Youth Contest-Festival organized in Yerevan John Kirakosyan's school on the initiative of "Tatev" foundation.
The class also traveled to Tbilisi where the students participated in the event titled "Paper Clothing".
