Online Meeing with Head of "Unison" NGO Armen Alaverdyan

On June 13th, at 11:00 am Naregatsi Art Institute organized the recurrent event of the Project “Interconnecting through Culture” via the Zoom Online Meeting Platform (Meeting ID: 847 5930 9418) being implemented thanks to the cooperation with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
Under the title "The Rights of People with Disabilities. Illusion and Reality" the participants had a meeting with Armen Alaverdyan, Head of "Unison" NGO, board member of the European Network on Independent Living.
During the meeting Armen Alaverdyan spoke about the historical aspects of disability, the stereotypes in the society, the ways of communicating with people with disabilities, the language, terminology, as well as the creative potential of the disabled.
At the end of the meeting Armen Alaverdyan answered the questions of the participants.
