Online Meeting with Genocide Expert Lilit Martirosyan

On July 4th, at 11:00 am Naregatsi Art Institute organized the recurrent event of the Project “Interconnecting through Culture” via the Zoom Online Meeting Platform (Meeting ID: 850 9713 4537) being implemented thanks to the cooperation with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Under the title “Problems and Challenges in Genocide Studies” the participants had a meeting with Lilit Martirosyan, Head of Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies NGO, genocide expert.

During the meeting, Lilit Martirosyan spoke about the provisions of the Convention on the Prevention of the Crime of Genocide, the application of the provisions of the Convention to the genocide committed against Armenians, as well as the historical and legal issues of genocide.

At the end of the meeting, Lilit Martirosyan referred also to extinction of the language, cultural, political and biological genocides and answered the questions of the participants.
