Visit to Gyumri and Vanadzor cities

Within the framework of the "Interconnecting through Culture" project implemented thanks to the cooperation of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Naregatsi Art Institute, a group of Armenian artists had cultural stops in Gyumri and Vanadzor.
The first visit was to Gyumri Academy of Arts. Hasmik Harutyunyan, musicologist, candidate of arts, gave a lecture for artists at the Gyumri Branch of the Yerevan State Conservatory, after which the participants toured the historical and cultural sites of the city.
The next stop was in Vanadzor. The artists visited Karlen Kochinyan's studio, where they got acquainted with his activities, and then visited the Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts, getting acquainted with both the main works on display and Edik Ghabuzyan's exhibition of fonts presented during that period.
