Premiere of the Theatrical Performance at NAI

On August 29th Naregatsi Art Institute hosted the premiere of the performance “The Home of My Heart” by the NAI Rotonda Inclusive Theatre.
The idea of the work is the struggle between Evil and Good, which is manifested through the clash of positive and negative human qualities. On the one hand, they are Indifference, Envy, Hatred, Fear, and on the other hand, Joy, Kindness, Patience, Compassion, etc. Each partici-pant personifies, represents one of the mentioned qualities. The clash of these forces takes place in the "home of the heart" of the heroine, who embodies joy and goodness: a house where evil forces are invading and trying to take over.
Their behavior can be expressed with the famous formula: “Today a guest, tomorrow a
master.” And as if the good gives way, at some point the mistress also turns evil, losing her memory and her identity.
Fortunately, the Traveler appears, sobering up the mistress, giving her the strength to
rediscover her identity, her bright image. The traveler urges him to help, to sympathize with people, to reform the evil ones. And the mistress does so, expressing her willingness to give place in her heart to all the good people in the world, including those glorious soldiers who died immortally for the sake of the MOTHERLAND... The mistress is able to reconcile
everyone. She compares her heart with the city, the homeland, the sky.
This charming performance instills love, reconciliation, harmony, peace - all that is expressed in cosmic sound in Beethoven's 9th Symphony, "Solemn Mass", whose author's motto is "HEART TO HEART." This is how the hearts of the audience and the young actors united in the hospitable "home of the heart" of the Naregatsi Art Institute.
The performance was received with great enthusiasm. In his closing speech, the founding president of the NAI, Nareg Hartounian, highly appreciated the diligence of the young
people and their love for art. He presented each participant of the performance with the magazine “Aghbyur”, where their words about their activities were published. N. Hartounian especially appreciated the fruitful work of the director of the theatre group, Marine
Asatryan.
In the near future, the theatre is preparing to be hosted in Goris, Artashat and elsewhere. We wish the young actors good luck.
