Naregatsi Art Institute under the support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is implementing the project “Interconnecting through Culture” in the period of February 2020 – April 2021.
Within February - July 2020 were organized lectures on human rights and universal values, film screenings and discussions for young people with renowned artists, lawyers, media professionals, filmmakers and journalists.
The project is aimed to promote the youth involvement in civil society initiatives through art and culture; as well as to create links between the young Armenian artists living in Armenia and abroad.
The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation was created in Lisbon in 1956 by the last will and testament of Calouste Sarkis Gulbenkian, a philanthropist of Armenian origin. The Foundation’s main purpose is to support the development of science, education, healthcare and art. The foundation has branches in France and the United Kingdom.
