2011-04-24 | Naregatsi Art Institute
The documentary film "Ani" was presented to the public in 2010. It was the result of the collaboration of the Naregatsi Art Institute with the RAA (Research on Armenian Architecture) Foundation.
The purpose of the Research on Armenian Architecture (RAA) Foundation is to investigate through expeditions and document Armenian architectural monuments located outside the borders of the present-day Republic of Armenia and present them to the Armenian and international community as a publication.
The film is about the medieval architectural monuments of Ani, reflecting on the splendor, glory, the ruins and the historical past of the capital of Bagratuni Kingdom. Information about the history of Ani, defensive installations and monuments is provided in five languages (Armenian, English, Turkish, French and Russian) in the attached booklet.
