In 2018, Naregatsi Art Institute in collaboration with ARTCONCEPT International Association published Gagik Hovounts's musical-theoretical work "Thoughts on Harmony" translated into English and German.
Thoughts on Harmony is the only writing of Armenian composer Gagik Hovounts (1930). It was first published in 1995 in Russian. The core of his considerations is the presentation of one’s own modal-harmonic system, which is the theoretical basis for all his compositions. The present translation goes back to the second, more extended edition from the year 2013.
